Heart of Tackett Terms & Conditions Effective Date: March 16, 2026
General Rules
- The speed limit on the property is 8 MPH at all times.
- All guests and visitors must sign a liability waiver before entering the property. No exceptions.
- All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult while on the property at all times.
- Individuals under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s signature on the liability waiver.
Safety & Property Use
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire pits.
- No washing of vehicles or equipment is allowed on the premises.
- Motorized vehicles are not permitted on grass areas, including for parking.
- No one under 18 may operate any vehicle (including bicycles) without a helmet.
- Only individuals with a valid driver’s license and proper permits may operate motorized vehicles on the property.
Cabins
- No muddy clothes or boots inside cabins. Outdoor hooks are provided.
- No smoking or vaping inside any cabin. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
- No pets allowed in cabins.
Noise & Courtesy
- Please be respectful of other guests at all times.
- Parking is allowed only in designated areas.
- Keep noise to a minimum — no loud music, including during arrival and departure.
Fishing & Pond Use
- Fishing is catch-and-release only.
- No swimming in the pond.
Trash & Cleanliness
- All garbage must be kept indoors and properly contained.
- Do not leave trash in vehicles, on porches, or in outdoor areas.
- Do not burn trash (including cans or bottles) in fire pits.
Check-In / Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a nominal fee, subject to availability and office hours.
Amenities
- Ice, firewood, charcoal, and water are available on-site.
- A camp store is planned for a future phase.
Payment & Surcharge Policy
- A 3% surcharge will be applied to any purchase or reservation made with a credit card.
- This surcharge helps offset credit card processing fees and will be clearly displayed before you complete checkout.
- Cash, debit cards, and other accepted payment methods are not subject to this surcharge.
Damages
- Any damages to property, cabins, or facilities will be charged to the card on file.
- Guests are responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement.
Liability Waivers
- All guests and visitors must sign our liability waiver and upload or provide a copy of a government-issued photo ID before checking in.
- Signed waivers and ID images are stored securely on our servers.
Refunds, Privacy Policy, and Agreement
- By making a reservation or visiting the property, you acknowledge and agree to our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and these Terms & Conditions.
- Full details of our Refund Policy are available upon request or during the booking process.
